Express Logic Expands--Opens Offices in Germany; ThreadX RTOS adoption by European developers prompts local coverage.

NEUREMBERG, Germany -- Express Logic, Inc., the worldwide leader in royalty-free real-time operating systems (RTOS), today announced that it has established two new sales and support offices in Hanover and Munich, Germany, to meet customer needs in central Europe. Responding to a growing base of developers using its ThreadX(R) RTOS, Express Logic has established local offices to better serve those customers and develop new business throughout central Europe. Working with processor partners and system-on-chip (SoC) customers like ARM, ST Microelectronics, Infineon and Zoran, Express Logic will extend its penetration into markets such as consumer electronics, networking, automotive and industrial automation.

Express Logic, GmbH, will be directed by Udo Nuelle, former director of Accelerated Technology, GmbH, and Wolfgang Erhart, also previously of Accelerated Technology. Both bring over 15 years of experience in the embedded RTOS world and successfully directed European operations in the recent past. Working out of the Hanover office, Herr Nuelle will support Northern Germany, Benelux, Denmark, and Poland, while the Munich office, directed by Herr Erhart, will support Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
