Exposing racists.

Sam Antonio has provided a great patriotic service by his coverage of the annual conference of the group National Council of La Raza The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) is the largest Hispanic advocacy organization in the United States. The NCLR was founded in 1968 as a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing discrimination and poverty and to improving the lives and economic opportunities of  (The Race). In his article "'The Race' to Win America" (August 7 issue), he cites the usual hypocrites, opportunists, and power brokers who spoke glowingly of the racist NCLR NCLR National Council of La Raza

, arrogant, obdurate, and aggressive opponents of sensible immigration reform ever since he first set foot inside the Senate building. He's obviously going to run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008, and he's pandering to a radical bunch of militant racists, thinking that most Latinos will vote for him if he promises to give La Raza and their supporters whatever they want, regardless of its harm to America.

Would he dare attend a conference of a white group that called itself "The Race"? No, but a racist conference of Latinos is fine with him and the major leaders of today's corrupt Republican and Democratic Parties--and with the TV news and newspapers.
