Exporter gets funds for Soviet shipment

Ardea is one of the first exporters to have a Soviet venture loan guaranteed by the State of California Export Finance Organization, according to Dan Dunn, president of the computer firm. The company has approval to ship computer insides directly to Soviet computer manufacturers, who will pay hard currency for the products, said Dunn.

German contacts were instrumental in connecting him with Soviet computer makers, said Dunn, as Ardea also exports to both East and West Germany West Germany: see Germany. .
