Expo to showcase art deco furniture.

An exhibition of art deco furniture and marble is being held at the Courtyard in Hamala. It has been created by British antiques expert Martin Woolman, who is the managing director of Dubai-based company Jeeves and has been collecting and exhibiting furniture for more than 40 years.

The event was opened under the patronage of Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, who is the executive director of inJaz Bahrain.

Hand-painted porcelain, antiques, glassware and art deco pieces are on display until Monday, followed by a showcase of hand-carved marble, flower pots and carved marble pieces until the end of the month.

The exhibition is open to the public Sundays to Thursdays, from 10.30am to 7pm.- TradeArabia News Service
