Dear Teacher,

What language is spoken in Austria? Who is the President of France? On which continent is Yemen located? Your students will be able to answer these and many more such questions after delving into our 2006-2007 World Affairs Noun 1. world affairs - affairs between nations; "you can't really keep up with world affairs by watching television"

 Atlas Atlas, in Greek mythology
Atlas (ăt`ləs), in Greek mythology, a Titan; son of Iapetus and Clymene and the brother of Prometheus.
 & Almanac almanac, originally, a calendar with notations of astronomical and other data. Almanacs have been known in simple form almost since the invention of writing, for they served to record religious feasts, seasonal changes, and the like. . We hope that the issue--a favorite among teachers--also will generate new questions and get students excited about exploring our world.
