Experts Available to Discuss Study on Global Warming in the Arctic.

TOPIC: A report from the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment claims global warming is affecting the Arctic twice as fast as the rest of world, according to an article by Reuters. The Arctic warms faster due to its dark ground and water, which holds more heat once it is exposed to the sun. The temperature change could cause the extinction of polar bears by 2100. Sea ice around the North Pole has already decreased by 15-20 percent over the past 30 years. The report was funded by Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden and the United States.
