Expert Chemical, Environmental Engineer Joins Furmanite's Leak Detection and Repair Group.


HOUSTON -- Furmanite, the world's first and one of the largest industrial specialty maintenance service companies, announced today that Angela Tucker-Peeler will join Furmanite as Service Line Manager for the company's Leak Detection and Repair Group (LDAR LDAR Leak Detection and Repair
LDAR Lightning Detection and Ranging System
). In this position, she will oversee Furmanite's existing LDAR Compliance Management System, such as equipment, quality assurance and software development as well as partner with customers on fugitive emissions compliance issues.

As the Service Line Manager for Leak Detection and Repair, Tucker-Peeler will also provide regulatory guidance to Furmanite's customers in the petrochemical, refinery and chemical industries to ensure fugitive emissions standards are met and that customers are apprised of changes in current regulations and compliance dates. She will provide customers with expert consultation, conduct LDAR needs assessments and make necessary improvements to customers' existing fugitive emissions plans.

Prior to joining Furmanite, she served as environmental engineer for Kentucky-based Arkema, responsible for the leak detection and repair program, as well as all plant regulatory compliance issues related to the Clean Air Act and Title V Permitting. She also worked as engineer in the Aventis CropScience Environmental and Health Services health services Managed care The benefits covered under a health contract  Division (formerly Rhone-Poulenc and currently Bayer CropScience).
