CONSULTATION DIRECTOR

Act as the initial point of contact in diagnosing the severity and immediacy of issues brought by engagement teams to the Firm's National Office, and ensuring timeliness and adequacy of talent for resolution. In this role, you will strive to deliver the highest level of customer service. You will perform initial consultation assessments in conjunction with the engagement team, facilitate consultation distribution to National Office resources, and resolve consultation inquiries. You must have a Bachelor's degree, CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  and 8 years of successful experience addressing and resolving accounting/financial reporting issues. A background in a Big Four firm, SEC or Corporate Financial Reporting function is required, along with excellent communication, analytical and project management talents, and experience implementing new accounting/reporting standards from the FASB FASB

In this position, you will communicate important/new financial reporting matters, work with engagement teams to resolve difficult matters, collect and analyze facts, and develop defensible de·fen·si·ble

Background must include analyzing and implementing new accounting and reporting standards from the FASB, AcSEC, EITF and SEC, as well as significant research of accounting/financial reporting literature.

RISK MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR

Help the Firm to formulate and communicate its position on new risk management and audit policy matters, and to develop user requirements for supporting technology. You will consult with partners, directors and managers on risk management and audit policy issues; work with engagement teams and other functional groups to resolve same; facilitate compliance with certain regulatory requirements; and act as a liaison for national/regional policies and initiatives. The qualified candidate has a Bachelor's degree. CPA and at least 10 years of experience with risk management and audit policy issues, including some with a Big Four firm and significant experience researching and interpreting risk issues. Strong analytical, communications and writing skills are essential, as is prior experience implementing new auditing standards from PCAOB PCAOB Public Company Accounting Oversight Board  or AICPA AICPA

SEC SERVICES DIRECTOR

Consulting with partners in the Firm's National Office, and various engagement partners, you will provide up-to-the-minute counsel on complex accounting, financial reporting and SEC issues, and communicate findings to senior management of the client company, their outside professional firms and SEC representatives. You will conduct reviews of external financial statements and regulatory filings (such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements Proxy Statement

Must have a Bachelor's degree, CPA and at least 5 years of experience as an Audit Manager in a Big Four or Second Tier Public Accounting firm (or comparable Fortune 500 corporate experience). Position also requires substantial experience advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, spin-offs, split-offs, etc., as well as current, demonstrated expertise with pronouncements from the FASB, EITF, AcSEC and SEC. A high degree of confidence, logical thinking and complex problem-solving skills is mandatory, as is experience performing audits, due diligence Research; analysis; your homework.
