:EXGP) Thursday announced that Karl A. Marlantes has joined the company as the chief operations officer in charge of worldwide operations.

Marlantes has more than 20 years of senior management experience and recently was the managing director of Chloride Eastern Industries in Singapore. He has extensive international experience in Europe and the Pacific Rim Pacific Rim, term used to describe the nations bordering the Pacific Ocean and the island countries situated in it. In the post–World War II era, the Pacific Rim has become an increasingly important and interconnected economic region. , where he served on the board of directors of companies in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka Sri Lanka (srē läng`kə) [Sinhalese,=resplendent land], formerly Ceylon, ancient Taprobane, officially Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, island republic (2005 est. pop. .
