Executive Bureau of Arab Telecommunications and Information Council of Ministers starts meeting.

Meeting of the 27th session of the Executive Bureau of Arab Telecommunications and Information Council of Ministers started on Wednesday at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.

The two- day meeting will discuss crystallizing an Arab communications and telecom strategy, means to support Palestinian post as well as other telecommunications and information - related issues.

The bureau comprises Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, and Libya.

The Arab Telecommunications and Information Council of Ministers is one of the specialized ministerial councils operating under the umbrella of the Arab League. It aims at coordinating and joining the forces of member states to establish and develop the ICT utilities in the region.
