 across its production floor, Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle Company was founded by Dan Hanlon and Dave Hanlon (brothers) who secured the rights to the defunct Excelsior-Henderson trademark in 1994. The two brothers found a number of investors and built a state-of-the-art factory in Belle Plaine, Minnesota.  Manufacturing Company proudly announced the shipment of its 500th Super X motorcycle on May 27, 1999.

This marks the first time since 1931 that this many new Excelsior-Henderson motorcycles have been available to bikers interested in this premium American brand.

 Joel Norenberg, Excelsior-Henderson's Director of Marketing, dealer and customer demand for the Super X continues to be strong. "Every bike we've shipped has a buyer waiting--some of whom made down payments as early as four years ago." He added that Excelsior-Henderson is continuing to increase production levels in support of meeting the company's motorcycle production goal of over 3,500 for the 1999 calendar year.
