At the inaugural Performance Networks Awards, organised by the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE), WVDC and Sones were runners-up in the Parks, Open Spaces & Horticultural Services category. APSE has more than 300 local authority members in Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales England and Wales are both constituent countries of the United Kingdom, that together share a single legal system: English law.
