Excellence in aquatics winners announced. (National Aquatics Branch).


The National Aquatics Branch recently announced the winners of the 2002 Excellence in Aquatics Award Winners. In communities with populations more than 250,000, Seattle Parks There are hundreds of parks in Seattle, Washington. This is a partial list. See the City of Seattle's list of parks for additional information.
  • Alki Beach Park
  • Alvin Larkins Park
  • Beer Sheva Park
  • Bryant Playground
  • Burke-Gilman Trail
  • Cal Anderson Park
 and Recreation was selected; in cities with populations between 100,000 and 250,000, Santa Clarita, Calif., won. The Class III winner, for communities with populations between 50,000 and 100,000, was Delray Beach, Fla. The Muskogee (Okla.) Parks and Recreation Department won the award for communities with populations between 20,000 and 50,000. The Class V winner, for communities with fewer than 20,000 citizens, was Lynbrook, N.Y. The university winner was the University of North Florida The University of North Florida (UNF) is a public university in Jacksonville, Florida. It currently has an enrollment of more than 16,000 students and employs over 500 full-time faculty. The current president is former Jacksonville mayor John Delaney.  in Jacksonville, while the college winner was Oklahoma City Community College The Oklahoma City Community College, also referred to as OCCC or O-Triple-C, is a coeducational community college located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The community college was founded in 1972. It currently enrolls 19,700 students.  in Oklahoma City, Okla. The Class VIII winner, for elementary, junior high, middle schools and high schools, was the Tigard-Tualatin School District The Tigard-Tualatin School District, #23J, is a school district serving part of the suburban Portland metropolitan area in Oregon including the cities of Tigard and Tualatin.  in Tigard, Ore.
