Excel names Wondrow president.


Excel Manufacturing, St. Charles, Minn., has appointed Todd Wondrow to the post of president.

In his new role, Wondrow manages overall business operations Business operations are those activities involved in the running of a business for the purpose of producing value for the stakeholders. Compare business processes. The outcome of business operations is the harvesting of value from assets , including sales, manufacturing and service.

Wondrow, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Stout, brings a resume of manufacturing experience from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  automakers and tier-1 automotive and off-road equipment suppliers, where he emphasized lean manufacturing and value stream management.

"Taking the helm of a company with such an industry-respected product makes growth exciting," Wondrow says.

Excel is a designer and manufacturer of baling and conveying systems for the recycling industry.
