Excel and Digital Technologies enter strategic partnership.


LOS ANGELES Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 12, 1996-- Excel, Inc. and Digital Technologies, Inc. announced today the establishment of a strategic partnership. The agreement enables Digital Technologies to resell Excel programmable switches as part of their Magnum 3000 System. This announcement follows Digital Technologies' acceptance into the Excel Partner Program which establishes both a technical and marketing infrastructure that allows Excel and their Partners to focus on strategic product offerings and marketing programs.

Building Partner relationships is an integral part of Excel's marketing strategy. "Excel is in the business of designing and building the most open, programmable switches in the industry. We rely upon our Partners to add the enabling software and systems integration that create solutions strategically targeted for the marketplace," said Bob Madonna, president of Excel.
