Exabyte announces new Magnum 1x7 LTO Autoloader for Mac OS X Server.


Exabyte Corporation, an innovator in tape backup Using magnetic tape for storing duplicate copies of hard disk files. The Magnum 1x7 LTO Autoloader is a 2u, rack-mountable, automated backup and restore product built with LTO (Ultrium) Technology and ExaBotics--Exabyte's world-renowned robotics robotics, science and technology of general purpose, programmable machine systems. Contrary to the popular fiction image of robots as ambulatory machines of human appearance capable of performing almost any task, most robotic systems are anchored to fixed positions .
