Evogene Completes Second Closing of Initial Private Placement.

REHOVOT, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2004

Evogene Ltd. announced today that it has completed a second closing of its initial private placement in the amount of $1.5 million bringing the total for the first round to $3.5 million. The first closing took place in March 2003. The second closing was restricted to the group of United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , European and Israeli investors that participated in the first closing.
