A year on from signing their multi-million-pound record deal, the Welsh choir team up with the legendary Bonnie Tyler Bonnie Tyler (real name Gaynor Hopkins), born on June 8 1951 in Skewen in Wales, United Kingdom is a pop/rock singer. She is widely recognisable by her highly distinctive, husky voice. for the release of their second album Band of Brothers in Cardiff today. It comes after the nation's favourite choir auditioned for a new member at the weekend. They included one girl and an 11-year-old boy. But the clue is in the name, and Only Men Aloud!'s new member will be both male and over 18 - and will be decided in the next few days by head judge Tim. He said: "At the audition everyone got their 10 minutes of singing, and then those that we liked got called back for a dance workshop. "There were plenty of pelvic thrusts and swinging hips going on." The dance audition was in preparation for several dance routines in the upcoming Christmas tour, which will see the new addition to the 20-strong choir strutting his stuff on a whole new scale. And, for those wondering what to expect, Tim says there will be a few surprises. "Because it's called Christmas With Only Men Aloud!, the whole thing will have a festive flavour," said Tim, from New Tredegar New Tredegar (Welsh: Tredegar Newydd) is a former mining community in the Rhymney Valley, South Wales. New Tredegar is also the home of New Tredegar RFC and Tredegar Arms AFC . "There will be tracks off the albums and some traditional Christmas music, as well as a few surprises." Meanwhile, never ones to turn fans away, the choir will be encouraging shoppers to get involved today at their album signing. Tim said: "We are very excited about the album. It looks like it's already doing better than the first was at this stage, and it's currently third on the Amazon pre-release chart." Not bad considering their first album achieved gold status within a week and went on to sell more than a quarter of a million copies. Tim continued: "At the launch we'll be doing a signing along with Bonnie bon·ny also bon·nie adj. bon·ni·er, bon·ni·est Scots 1. Physically attractive or appealing; pretty. 2. Excellent. and performing four album tracks." The special guest appearance from Bonnie Tyler comes after a collaboration with the choir on a new arrangement of her 80s anthem Total Eclipse Of The Heart. And Tim says it has been a real treat. "She's just an absolute darling, a real trouper. I've always admired her and now she's sounding better than ever," he said. Band of Brothers will see the choir's interpretation of classics including Somebody to Love, as well as traditional anthems such as Land Of Our Fathers. The launch album signing is at Tesco Extra in Culverhouse Cross Culverhouse Cross (Welsh: Croes Cwrlwys) is suburban district of the city of Cardiff, Wales. It is linked to the M4 motorway via the A4232 and is a busy shopping precinct with a range of stores. It lies on the border between Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. from 4pm to 6pm today.
