With their first single in nearly sixteen years, veteran all-girl rock band, the Go-Go's return to radio on March 20th with the first single from their forthcoming album "God Bless the Go-Go's"(May 15th).

The band recently regrouped with original members Belinda Carlisle Belinda Carlisle, born Belinda Jo Carlisle (also known as Belinda Kurczeski); on August 17, 1958 in Hollywood, California, is the lead vocalist and a founding member of the all-female New Wave band Go-Go's as well as a successful solo artist.  (vocals), Jane Wiedlin Jane Wiedlin (born Jane Marie Genevieve Wiedlin, May 20 1958 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, U.S.) is the rhythm guitarist of the all-female multi-platinum New Wave band Go-Go's.  and Charlotte Caffey (guitars), Kathy Valentine Kathy Valentine (born Kathryn Valentine on January 7 1959 in Austin, Texas) is the bassist for the all-girl punk/pop band, The Go-Go's.

Before joining the Go Go's, she had a brief stint in the heavy metal band Girlschool and later performed with The Textones and The
(bass), and Gina Schock Gina Schock (born Regina Ann Schock on August 31, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland) is best known as the drummer in the all-girl punk/pop band, The Go-Go's.

Schock's career began as drummer for Edie and the Eggs, a band assembled to feature the John Waters star Edith

"Unforgiven," featuring Green Day front man Billy Joe Armstrong, who both co-wrote the track and appears alongside the band on guitars and vocals, marks the return of the rock act after having split up in 1985. It appears the Go-Go's have since not been forgotten, proved by Christina Aguilera's live performance on the Grammy Awards February 21st, in which she strutted across the stage wearing an authentic Go-Go's T-shirt, signaling an homage to the pioneer rock band and the return of girl power.
