EveryWare Development Canada Corp. Announces Year End Results; Company posts 187% increase in revenue over 1995 results.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 1997--EveryWare Development Canada Corp. (ASE:EVY.) today announced year-end results for 1996.

EveryWare's revenue increased 187% over 1995, to $6.1 million. In the fourth quarter ending December 31st, revenue increased to $1.6 million, a 191% increase over 1995 fourth quarter figures.

The revenue growth was due to the extremely successful sales of the core products, Tango Enterprise, Butler SQL and Tango Merchant as well as from revenue obtained by the Professional Services division. Software products contributed towards 85% of 1996 sales with the remaining 15% coming from the consulting division.

During the latter part of 1996, EveryWare focused its marketing initiatives on the Windows NT market. The flagship product Tango Enterprise was released on Windows NT, Windows 95 and Unix platforms in November, making it the only cross-platform solution in its category.

EveryWare released in August of 1996, Tango Merchant, an on-line commerce solution. The product, initially released on the Macintosh, produced strong sales for the company during 1996. With the current rate of growth in the electronic commerce market, EveryWare expects a tremendous increase in sales for Tango Merchant once it ships on the Windows platform. Tango Merchant for Windows NT is expected to ship in May, 1997.
