Every child matters! FOUR DWELLINGS HIGH SCHOOL.

EVERY child matters - that's not just a clichA at Four Dwellings High School.

The school challenges teachers, students, parents, governors and friends of the school to "raise expectations and achievements, with an aim to make every child realise that they really do matter."

The school's mission is to involve all partners in a process where a new and exciting beginning is possible for everyone.

Four Dwellings was described as 'a good school with outstanding features' by Ofsted inspectors in June this year.

It is proud to be Birmingham School of the Year in 2005. Four Dwellings High School offers quality facilities including, as part of its new Specialist Science College status, a recently relocated and extended science department to include redesigned laboratories with state-of the-art resources.

It has a recently extended and fully equipped library and resource centre staffed by a full-time librarian. On site is The Cadbury Community Theatre, a resource base for autism, a learning support centre, a disability unit, full adaptation throughout the school for wheelchair users and a family learning centre.

Four Dwellings is part of the on-site Quinzone (Small Educational Action Zone) offering a selection of vocational courses, including construction, hair & beauty, horticulture and ICT (1) (Information and Communications Technology) An umbrella term for the information technology field. See IT.
