Everest expands to new markets.

Everest Broadband Networks recently announced the signing of eight million SF in building access contracts in Denver, Houston, Miami, and Des Moines. Launched in January as a regional New York City building services provider (BSP), Everest has quickly become a North American player by continuing to expand to new markets and is now present in major cities in 24 states and five provinces of Canada.

In just eleven months, Everest has increased its portfolio of buildings under contract to 636, representing more than 210 million SF. By the end of this year, Everest expects to have contracts for more than 300 million SF of space -- a first year growth rate unprecedented in the BSP market.

Everest's new contracts add to its already high profile list of real estate industry leaders. The contracts include five million SF with R & R Realty, two million SF with Hampshire Properties, agreements with Garland Office LLC, and Principal Investment Group in Miami.

Everest is now delivering broadband services in many premier commercial properties across the country including New York's Chrysler Center and the GM Building at Trump International Plaza, the Chicago Merchandise Mart, and The Equitable Plaza, Cal Mart Building, and Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles.

In its first three months of operation, Everest Broadband Canada has already forged strategic relationships with many of Canada's top real estate developers and property managers, including O&Y Properties. It now has under contract nearly 100 separate properties in Canada, including Montreal's Drummond Building, Place Jean Talon, and Parkade Tower.

With industry experts predicting a consolidation in the BSP sector, Everest has been hailed for its far-sighted business plan that takes a prudent economic approach to infrastructure deployment, while maximizing long-term revenue, profitability, and cash flow. On August 14, Everest announced it had acquired Metrocomm International Inc., a building telecommunications provider with a broad and profitable customer base throughout the New York region.
