The F-15C ACES program is the first of several Distributed Mission Training (DMT See DSL. ) programs which the Air Force plans to fund as contracted training and simulation services.

The initial contract calls for E&S to supply ESIG(R)-4530GT image generators, databases, spares, and support. The contract also contains options which, if fully exercised, will result in Boeing and E&S supplying a total of 46 F-15C simulators to 14 U.S. Air Force bases.

"This is a significant program for E&S," said James R. Oyler, president and chief executive officer of E&S. "We are part of an Air Force/industry team that is revolutionizing the way Air Combat Command uses simulation to enhance operational capabilities. We are extremely pleased to be part of the Boeing team."

The ESIG-4530GT image generator being supplied to Boeing by E&S is a member of the ESIG(R)-4500 Series. It offers a wide range of standard and optional features, including full range buffering, texture animation, weapons effects, and other features used to create exceptional scene realism and effective training.
