Eurotorp has announced the introduction into service of the MU90 LWT torpedo by the French Navy--this following the completion of the Torpedo Reliability Demonstration Programme and the introduction of Block 1 upgrades.
Eurotorp has announced the introduction into service of the MU90
LWT torpedo by the French Navy--this following the completion of the
Torpedo Reliability Demonstration Programme and the introduction of
Block 1 upgrades. The third batch of torpedoes has been accepted and was
delivered in March 2008. The French Navy will have more than 150 MU90
Block 1 torpedoes by end-2008.
