European history section.


The European History Section will celebrate its golden anniversary at the annual meeting in November in Atlanta. In honor of the occasion, Dr. June Burton has researched the history of the European Section European section is an optional subject in French high schools in order to teach a subject through a European language other than French. Teachers present their lessons in English, German or Spanish. There are many different subjects as computing, history or something else. , and there will be a special session on the program highlighting the findings of her research and honoring the founders of the Section. The Matthews-Weinberg European History Luncheon will take place on Friday, November 4, 2005. The program for the luncheon will be in honor of Joseph J. Matthews and Gerhard Weinberg Gerhard Ludwig Weinberg (born January 1, 1928) is a German-born American diplomatic and military historian noted for his studies in the history of World War II.
