Europe's No. 3 TV Manufacturer, a Private Company: PROFILO-TELRA.

ISTANBUL, Turkey -- Located in Turkey, It forms part of the Profilo Group of Companies, a prominent Private Holding with interests in Electronics, Telecom, Trading, Construction, Real Estate, Distribution, Ship building and Tourism.

Established in 1970, the Company started to manufacture TV in 1980. It has been the first ever outsourcing (1) Contracting with outside consultants, software houses or service bureaus to perform systems analysis, programming and datacenter operations. With 3 million TVs produced and sold in 2004, Profilo-Telra with 2100 skilled employees enjoys costs, quality, flexibility and production efficiencies associated with high volumes.

Profilo-Telra has a state-of-the-art factory with TV production capacity extended to 5 million units in 2004. Additional capacity for a few millions electronic sets is utilized for other Audio - Video products. Equipment consists of 65 insertion machines, 36 plastic injection machines, and 22 assembly lines (4.5 million LCD and CRT (1) (C RunTime) See runtime library.

DLP is used in all types of projection devices, from data projectors that weigh only a few pounds to large rear-projection TVs to electronic  and CRT TVs, including DVD+RW (DVD+Read Write) A rewritable (re-recordable) DVD disc for both movies and data from the DVD+RW Alliance. DVD+RW media can be read on DVD-Video players and computer DVD-ROM drives.  Combi's, and Digital TVs. The Company has extensive alliances with world class technology providers and leading chip manufacturers.

The Company sells its products on the European market through own subsidiaries and representatives in Germany, the UK, France, Poland, and Turkey, and through a network of dedicated distributors in other countries. Most TVs are sold under Distributors' specific Brands or Retailers' Private Labels, as well as renown CE Brands

In Turkey, the Company enjoys 23% market share and sells its products under own and franchised brands through 5 000 stores.

After Sales Service is taken care of by the different subsidiaries and distributors under the coordination from Pesas, the Company's own European service organization.

Profilo-Telra Revenues reached US$ 570 million in 2004, a growth superior to 50% over 2003. Confident in its growth prospects, Profilo Telra has acquired the capacity to grow its market share from 8-9% to 13-15% within 2 years. In 2007, turnover is expected to surpass the 1 billion USD USD
