Eurofighter loaded and ready.

The Eurofighter Typhoon Instrumented Produciton aircraft (IPA) No. 3 is shown here displaying its rather impressive load of external stores as it flies over the Eads Manching facilities during recent test flights. The Eurofighter's 'standard' air-to-air stores load--four Amraam medium-range and two Iris-T short-range missiles--is seen here complemented by three external fuel tanks and four Paveway II air-to-surface precision guided munitions. Take-off weight with this load is almost 24 metric tonnes.
