Ethika announces election of two new board members.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 1996--Ethika Corp., headquartered on Hilton Head Island, S.C., today announced the election of two new members to its Board of Directors: William D. Stubblefield and Anthony J. Spuria.

Stubblefield, of Bluffton, S.C., formerly was chairman and chief executive officer of Medical Graphics Corporation of St. Paul, MN. Medical Graphics is involved in the research, manufacturing, and marketing of medical instrumentation.

Previously, he had been president and chief operating officer of Endotronics, another Minnesota-based corporation. Endotronics produces research instrumentation and production equipment for the biotechnology industry. Its products are marketed to scientific companies in Asia and Europe as well as domestically.

Earlier, Stubblefield served for 12 years with American Hospital Supply, the largest distributor of medical equipment and supplies in the United States. With AHS, he held posts as vice president for the American Health Facilities Division; vice president, marketing for the Scientific Products Industrial Division; and president of the American Microscan Division. Most recently, Stubblefield was a member of the faculty at the School of Business and Industry at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Fla.

Anthony J. Spuria, is chief executive officer of A la Cart, Inc., of Charlotte, N.C. A la Cart is a leading manufacturer and marketer of technologically advanced meal delivery systems for the health care industry.

Prior to his becoming CEO of A la Cart, Spuria served with Fairchild Industries at the divisional level in positions ranging from controller to president. At the corporate level he was senior vice president for business development and senior vice president, Commercial Aviation. In the latter post he had P&L responsibility for 5 operating units which generated an annual sales volume in excess of $300 million. Spuria's earlier experience included industrial engineering posts with Raytheon and Sylvania in addition to cost analysis work for RCA.
