, will explain how the PUD organized a nationwide communications Nationwide Communications Inc. was a media subsidiary of the Nationwide Insurance Company, which operated from 1946 until 1997. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Nationwide Communications owned and operated a variety of radio and television stations across the United States until it sold  campaign to defend its customers against unethical business practices.

The Thursday, Oct. 21 event, organized by the Puget Sound Puget Sound (py`jĕt), arm of the Pacific Ocean, NW Wash., connected with the Pacific by Juan de Fuca Strait, entered through the Admiralty Inlet and extending in two arms c.  chapter of PRSA, will be held at McCormick and Schmick's Harborside Restaurant, 1200 Westlake Avenue North in Seattle.

In the wake of Enron's dramatic collapse, the Snohomish Public Utility District rooted out audio tapes that showed Enron energy traders joking about manipulating energy prices and abusing customers. Now the PUD is turning the tables -- those ethical lapses could prevent bankrupt Enron from collecting $122 million in contract fees from Snohomish ratepayers.

Neroutsos will also comment on what communicators can do to keep their organizations on the ethical straight and narrow.

This meeting will also serve as the Puget Sound Chapter's Annual Meeting, and chapter members present will be able to vote on the organization's slate of new board members and PRSA Assembly Delegates.

For Assembly Delegate, nominees are Bruce Amundson, APR, director of financial and media relations with the Weyerhaeuser Co., and Davina Gruenstein, APR,management supervisor at Publicis Dialog.

The event is open to PRSA members, non-members, friends, spouses and clients. Tickets cost $25 for PRSA members and $35 for non-members. Breakfast is included. Register by noon on Oct. 18 to avoid a $5 late fee. The event is sponsored by ACT Teleconferencing and the Boeing Co.
