This highly interactive one day meeting, which will take place October 24-25 at the University of Chicago, will include two parts: brief formal remarks on key topics made by select thought leaders, and an opportunity for participants to provide input and feedback in response to those remarks. Confirmed speakers for the day include David Shore David Shore is a Canadian-born writer, best known for his work writing and producing in television. A former lawyer, Shore became known for his work on Family Law and NYPD Blue. , Dean of the Harvard School of Public Health The Harvard School of Public Health is (colloquially, HSPH) is one of the professional graduate schools of Harvard University. Located in Longwood Area of the Boston, Massachusetts neighborhood of Mission Hill, next to Harvard Medical School and Cambridge, Massachusetts, , Ann Cato, V.P. and Chief Ethics Officer, Wal-Mart Inc., and Georgia Keresty, V.P. Worldwide Healthcare Compliance, Johnson & Johnson. Agenda topics for the day include government perspective, as well as the impact of ethics, compliance, governance, and corporate culture on the bottom line. Feedback provided by participants will be used to focus an in depth research project on the value of ethics and compliance programs. Research will be conducted jointly by the University of Chicago and Harvard under the auspices of the ECOA.
