Ethertronics Earns Series of Awards Underscoring Company's Continued Growth and Global Leadership Position.

Garners High Ranks from Deloitte & Touche, San Diego World Trade Center and San Diego AeA

SAN DIEGO -- Ethertronics, a leading provider of standard and customized embedded antenna solutions for wireless devices, today announced the company has recently earned a series of awards including a number-five ranking in Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for San Diego. The ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the San Diego area was released by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2003-2007. This is the second consecutive year that Ethertronics has placed in the top five on Deloitte's San Diego Technology Fast 50 list. Ethertronics was also ranked as number 91 on Deloitte's Fast 500 List, named Importer of the Year by the San Diego World Trade Center, and a finalist in the AeA San Diego High Tech Awards.

Ethertronics' president and CEO Laurent Desclos credits the growing wireless market, the company's proven RF design capabilities and strong customer traction with the top handset OEMs for its five-year 2,386 percent revenue growth.

"Ethertronics has experienced an exponential period of growth, and we are delighted to continue to be recognized by so many prestigious organizations," said Desclos. "As global device manufacturers continue to shrink device sizes while supporting new frequency bands and features, many have turned to Ethertronics for assistance. Our unique ability to combine high-performance antenna solutions in a variety of ultra-small form factors without compromising on key specifications like antenna isolation and high efficiency across a wide operating band positions our IMD technology apart from others. These are challenging design problems, yet our strong design-win traction at leading wireless OEMs coupled with our ability to scale our business to an ever higher number of antenna designs and shipments, underscores our recent honors and achievements."

Ethertronics designs and manufactures customized embedded antennas for mobile devices including cell phones, laptop computers and other consumer electronic devices. The company continues to expand its global footprint and gain market share with its patented Isolated Magnetic Dipole[TM] (IMD) enabled antennas. The company's expertise in developing antenna solutions for a variety of applications has enabled the company to achieve an installed base of nearly 150 million units with a run-rate now at more than one million antennas shipped per week.
