Essential Security Software Advances; Taceo Email Security for Small Business Taceo Now Provides Greater Usability and Increases Performance.


BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Essential Security Software, a provider of email and document security solutions for small business, and a member of the Microsoft SecureIT Alliance, today announced enhancements to Essential Taceo(TM) aimed at improving usability, performance and delivering tighter integration with Microsoft(R) Outlook(R).

Essential Taceo provides several new enhancements focused on usability, most visibly Easy Install and Weblink Activation. Taceo's new Easy Install offers a streamlined installation and registration process that quickly creates new accounts. Taceo also includes Weblink Activation to more seamlessly operate with user's existing firewall solutions.

Further enhancements to Taceo include Always Active Integration within Microsoft Outlook's toolbar A row or column of on-screen buttons used to activate functions in the application. Many toolbars are customizable, letting you add and delete buttons as required. Toolbars may be fixed in position or may float, which means they can be dragged to a more convenient location in the , enabling instant access to Taceo's secure email features without having to open Taceo's main application. Taceo performance enhancements include a faster startup time and Corporate Level Activation which allows operation on limited or power user Windows accounts, enabling automated rollout of Taceo within a corporate environment. In addition, Taceo has improved its file check efficiency in importing renderable and non-renderable files.

Upon installation of Taceo 1.4, users will be automatically notified via Auto Web Update when free updates become available for download. Future Taceo enhancements include support for email threading, tighter default integration within Microsoft Outlook For the e-mail and news client bundled with certain versions of Microsoft Windows, see .
