. -- Esker, the leader in document process automation solutions, announced today that Garden State Multiple Listing Service LLC (GSMLS) has implemented Esker DeliveryWare. A search engine for licensed real-estate agents in northern New Jersey, GSMLS will leverage the technology to automate To turn a set of manual steps into an operation that goes by itself. See automation.  the fax delivery of information on properties available for sale and rent to local listing and selling real-estate agents.

Esker DeliveryWare provides a single platform for automating the flow of business transaction documents directly into and out of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) An integrated information system that serves all departments within an enterprise. Evolving out of the manufacturing industry, ERP implies the use of packaged software rather than proprietary software written by or for one customer.  systems and other enterprise applications, eliminating manual order entry and physical document handling.

GSMLS members enter property information online, making knowledge of property for rent or sale immediately available to all other members. The challenge arose when a selling real-estate agent needed to contact a listing real-estate agent to request additional documents, such as surveys, floor plans, disclosure documents, etc. that are typically only needed once a potential buyer has expressed interest in a property. Prior to implementation, communication between the real-estate agents was done via phone calls and faxes. Due to the large number of listings on the website, faxing information about every single property of interest fueled a long and tedious process for the real-estate agents.

Now, with Esker DeliveryWare in place, the need for selling real estate agents to contact listing real estate agents and request common real-estate documents such as, as surveys, floor plans, disclosure documents, compliance documents or zoning requirements, is eliminated. Instead, now a listing agent can make the most common documents available to all members immediately by sending the information to GSMLS. This saves members' time that was once spent on phone calls and faxes that were common when a buyer was interested in a property.

When additional documents about a property are sent to GSMLS, the documents are automatically converted into PDFs and then automatically routed to be published with the appropriate property listings. Esker DeliveryWare has the ability to interpret and process the bar code information on the cover page of each incoming document. This information can range from building documents to images to amenities and are now available on the website immediately.

"We have 30,000 active listings on our website and the amount continues to increase each day," said Bob Kimpland, Director of IT for GSMLS. "The fact that real-estate agents do not have to fax back and forth in order to share the necessary information quickly is tremendous. With DeliveryWare we have facilitated the sharing process and saved our customers a significant amount of time and resources."

"GSMLS is a great example of how making a simple change to its IT infrastructure has resulted in great benefits for the company," said Mike Wenzel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Americas. "By automating fax communications with Esker DeliveryWare the company has been able to make information less time consuming and more effective. This ability to provide customer satisfaction will help GSMLS continue to grow its business."
