Ernst & Young Helps Bring Families Together With Second Annual "Holi-Conferencing" Program.NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 1998--Ernst & Young announced today the launch of its second annual "holi-conferencing" program, which will allow the firm's employees and their families to "tele-visit" with relatives across the country during the holiday season. Using the firm's sophisticated video tele-conferencing facilities, Ernst & Young employees will be able to see and speak with family members in any one of 39 U.S. cities, as well as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa in Canada and London, England. Sharon Allen, an Ernst & Young employee in Cleveland, is planning to participate in the firm's holi-conferencing program again this year. Last year, Sharon and her children "tele-visited" with Sharon's father in Atlanta. "The kids only get to see their grandpa about once a year, so they were really excited," said Sharon. "It was a great experience. I'm glad Ernst & Young is offering the program again this year." Over a hundred people took part in last year's inaugural program and just as many are expected to "holi-conference" this year. For the 1998 holiday season, the firm is offering 50 videoconferencing facilities in 46 cities - an increase of 16 sites over last year.
