Ericsson delivering base station subsystem to new Croatian GSM operator, VIP-Net.


STOCKHOLM, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 1999--

Ericsson has been selected by new Croatian operator VIP-Net to deliver the Base Station Subsystem The Base Station Subsystem (BSS) is the section of a traditional cellular telephone network which is responsible for handling traffic and signaling between a mobile phone and the Network Switching Subsystem.  (BSS See 802.11.
