Equity watch call: further a share-owning culture.

I have been a loyal reader of your magazine for many years, and have been wondering for some time why you do not cover Africa's increasingly active stock markets. It is widely agreed that Africa needs equity investment, rather than debt investments, and the development of resilient stock markets, a strong culture of probity, and an effective means for local companies to raise capital are all highly desirable objectives.

From Ghana to Kenya, Egypt to South Africa, Africa's stock markets are recording astonishing growth, and the culture of share owning in Africa is gradually gaining a foothold. You have a role here to further the process along by providing your influential readers with regular updates and analyses of the performances of Africa's stock markets.
