Equinox Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:EQNX) today announced a strategic relationship with the Tzolkin Corporation, the leading provider of Dynamic DNS services. Equinox will offer Tzolkin's TZO Dynamic DNS client as an integral feature of its Internet Broadband Gateway, the IBG-100/7. Small and medium businesses are now able to use their broadband Internet connection as effectively as large corporations without the recurring cost of maintaining a static IP address.

Each IBG-100/7 supports TZO Dynamic DNS using equigate.net as a top-level domain. Customers benefit from instant Internet visibility using a second-level domain such as acme.equigate.net. The premier level of TZO Dynamic DNS is also available. It allows businesses to establish their own top-level domain such as acme.com.

The Equinox IBG-100/7 is a DSL/cable sharing router and 7-Port 10/100 Ethernet switch. It is available through reseller and catalog channels as well as major U.S. and international distributors at a list price of U.S. $299. One year of free TZO Dynamic DNS service is provided with each IBG under the equigate.net domain name.
