MCi chose the same EAN/Global Crossing Telecommunications solution that offers MCi businesses and institutions services and rates comparable to those enjoyed by Fortune 100 businesses in major urban centers such as Boston, New York Boston is a town in Erie County, New York, United States. Equal Access Networks will invest its own private funds in building an independent broadband access network to provide greater availability, reliability and scalability to businesses and institutions in the region. Global Crossing will provide voice, data, video and Internet services over the world's most extensive global IP-based fiber optic network.

MCi is a public/private collaboration of the Monadnock Economic Development Corporation, Monadnock Business Ventures (serving 39 towns) and numerous business and nonprofit agencies with a goal of joining together to attract telecommunications providers to the area, while lowering the cost for businesses and nonprofits.
