Epoxy adhesive product.


This two-component epoxy adhesive/sealant has been developed for cryogenic applications. Called EP29LPSR LPSR Lost Pines Scout Reservation (Boy Scouts of America; near Austin, TX, USA)  this compound is able to withstand temperatures as low as 4[degrees]K. Additionally, it is able to resist cryogenic shocks (i.e., room temperature down to liquid helium Liquid helium  temperatures in a 5-10 minute time period). EP29LPSP LPSP Laboratorie de Physique Stellair et Planetaire (France)  has a mix ratio of 100 to 65 by weight. It cures at room temperature, but best results are obtained if heat cured at 130-165[degrees]F for 6-8 hours. EP29LPSP is said to feature superior physical strength properties and excellent chemical resistance, according to according to
