Enzo Biochem Declares 5% Stock Dividend.


FARMINGDALE, N.Y. -- Enzo Biochem, Inc. (NYSE NYSE

:ENZ), a leading biotechnology company specializing in gene identification and genetic and immune regulation technologies for diagnostic and therapeutic applications, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a 5% stock dividend, payable November 15, 2004 to shareholders of record on October 25, 2004. Enzo said that the stock dividend was an expression of the Company's confidence in its outlook. Fractional shares will be paid in cash.
