As part of its ongoing effort to provide environmental information both in Spanish and English, U.S. EPA has launched a new consolidated Spanish Web site.

The site compiles U.S. EPA's Spanish-language materials for a wide variety of areas, from lead-poisoning prevention to the control of asthma triggers, from recycling recycling, the process of recovering and reusing waste products—from household use, manufacturing, agriculture, and business—and thereby reducing their burden on the environment.  to the proper management of pesticides. The site was developed through a series of focus groups to respond to the environmental needs and interests of Hispanics.

In addition to environmental health information, the site offers educational resources for students and teachers who often seek Spanish-language learning tools on the environment. It also provides information about U.S. EPA grants and small-business opportunities at U.S. EPA.
