Five million gallon, state-of-the-art waste oil processing facility

nears completion, will be operational by month-end.

Environmental Oil Processing Technology Corporation (the "Corporation")(OTC:EVOP) announced today that Redd Engineering and Construction, Inc. (RCI; Salt Lake City) has completed its review of the EVOP proprietary process to produce naphtha, Diesel fuel and burner (residuum) from used oil.

The state-of-the-art design incorporates several modifications recommended by RCI, including a new fractionating column. The contractor has also recently completed installation of a stripping column, three exchangers, nine pumps, gasoline accumulators, air coolers, and a custom-designed vessel used in the process.

An existing control system is being replaced with the Emerson Process Management Delta V system, an integrated process control system with a single database. Incorporating the latest digital buss technology, the Emerson Delta V system enables instrument configuration and diagnostics, as well as digital communication with field instrumentation and third-party software. In addition to simplifying configuration modifications, the system also includes automatic loop tuning.

Control valves supplied by Emerson Product Management's Fisher division and approximately 40 transmitters and other instruments provided by Emerson's Rosemount division are being installed as part of the process modification. According to Tod Tripple, president and chief executive officer of EVOP, the company's alliance with Emerson enabled it to obtain excellent pricing on vital components.

These various modifications are expected to produce a higher quality end-product, and an appreciable lessening of coking and process equipment plugging. The company anticipates a resultant decrease in the frequency and duration of downtime and maintenance and a dramatic increase in uninterrupted plant operation.

Management of EVOP anticipates all modifications will be completed during the next 30 days. The plant is expected to commence operations by July month-end, with a capacity of 5 to 6 million gallons annually.
