Incorporating the latest digital buss technology, the Emerson Delta V system enables instrument configuration and diagnostics, as well as digital communication with field instrumentation and third-party software. In addition to simplifying configuration modifications, the system also includes automatic loop tuning.

These various modifications are expected to produce a higher quality end-product, and an appreciable lessening of coking and process equipment plugging. Management of EVOP anticipates all modifications will be completed during the next 30 days. The plant is expected to commence operations by July month-end, with a capacity of 5 to 6 million gallons annually.
