The National Safety Council (NSC) has integrated its internal databases with researched on-line resources. The resulting Web site, called Crossroads, provides injury statistics, hazardous-chemical profiles, safety data sheets, topical topical /top·i·cal/ (top´i-k'l) pertaining to a particular area, as a topical antiinfective applied to a certain area of the skin and affecting only the area to which it is applied.

top·i·cal

articles, expert Q&A, and many other hard-to-find features. Also, Crossroads has a special section for users of CAMEO(r) and ALOHA(r) chemical-emergency planning software.

What makes the Crossroads site unique is that the data are developed and maintained by experienced professionals at NSC. The site outlines specific topic areas and organizes data in an easy-to-find manner. Thus, a user can, for instance, do a search on chemical material data safety sheet (MSDS MSDS Material Safety Data Sheets, see there ) sites and get back direct links.
