(ARS). As a result of this settlement, the parties have reached an agreement that will result in a profitable relationship in applying ETI's core technology using ARS' patented placement methods. John Vogan, President of ETI, stated, "ARS is one of the leading practitioners of 'source zone' clean-up using iron (via their Ferox(SM) process), so reaching this agreement will allow both firms to focus on delivering cost-effective environmental solutions to their clients. The agreement should also clarify ETI's intellectual property position for others in the industry. We plan to move forward quite quickly to evaluate ARS's proprietary iron materials to determine whether they represent a cost-effective alternative to our current commercial iron sources."
