Any of several competitive international road races for sports cars of specific engine size over an exacting, usually risky course.
 LLIC LLIC Large Low-Income Country  (Limited Liability Intermediate Company) and the company responsible for the planning of the event of that name, entertainment content planning company Pride One Entertainment Co., Ltd, today announced that the April 30 deadline for the submission of entries for the 1st Beautiful Japan Cultural Grand Prix is drawing close.

The Grand Prix is held four times a year, on each occasion taking a different Japanese prefecture as its theme, and involves the selection of outstanding works taking the beauty of Japan's four seasons and its urban landscapes as their theme, with a view to discovering and fostering artists. The theme for the 1st Grand Prix is Hiroshima Prefecture, and the winners will be announced in June. Following on from Hiroshima Prefecture, the themes for contests to be held in 2006 will be Shimane Prefecture Shimane Prefecture (島根県 Shimane-ken , famed for its association with Lafcadio Hearn, and Hyogo Prefecture, home of Himeji Castle.

The Grand Prix is a rare experiment in which copyright and copyright management are separated, and works entered for the contest will not become the property of the organizers, so as to protect the rights of the creator.

Entries are invited in the following 7 genres and 24 categories. Entries will be judged by experts in the field represented by each category.
