Entrust Technologies and Worldtalk Corporation Announce Strategic Alliance.OTTAWA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1997-- Both Companies to Offer Interoperable Enterprise-level E-mail Security Solutions Entrust Technologies, the leading provider of Certification Authority and public-key management products, today announced an alliance with Worldtalk (R) Corporation (NASDAQ:WTLK). Through the alliance, Worldtalk's WorldSecure Client(TM) will become Entrust-Ready(TM), supporting the industry's leading Entrust(R) public-key infrastructure. This will provide enterprises with a complete solution for securing deployed e-mail systems. Entrust will resell the final Entrust-Ready WorldSecure Client through its direct and indirect distribution channels. WorldSecure Client is a robust, easy-to-use desktop e-mail security application that leverages the Secure MIME (S/MIME) standard to secure e-mail, attachments and files. The Entrust-Ready version of the WorldSecure Client will be added to the Entrust/Express(TM) family of products, providing organizations with a complete, cross-platform solution to secure e- mail. It will provide an additional layer of security for a range of e-mail applications that represent the majority of e-mail products in use in enterprises today, including Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Outlook, GroupWise, cc:Mail and Eudora Pro.
