Entrust Technologies Introduces Comprehensive Secure E-mail Solution for Global 1000 Enterprises.
Based on Entrust's award-winning public-key infrastructure (PKI) and its compatibility with today's most popular e-mail systems, the solution offers enterprises the ability to extend secure communications over the Internet or through extranets. It also provides for secure data and user mobility and allows organizations to benefit from secure workflow automation over any public or private network. In addition, use of the Entrust(R) PKI ensures that enterprises have the ability to provide security features for any other desktop or legacy application that is in use within the organization.
The solution's core components include the Entrust PKI, Entrust/Express(TM) and Entrust-Ready(TM) applications that are offered by Entrust Partners. The company's alliances with key players in the messaging industry allow the layering of Entrust security onto the customer's existing messaging infrastructure, while ensuring ease-of-use and interoperability.
"Global 1000 organizations are facing challenges today in implementing a secure e-mail solution across the enterprise," said John Ryan, Entrust Technologies' president and chief executive officer. "Our streamlined solution provides these businesses with a proven security formula for the electronic transmission of confidential business material. Moreover, Entrust's interoperability and standards-based interfaces make it simple for organizations to introduce additional security into their existing e-mail environments."
