(Nasdaq:ENTU), the global leader in solutions that bring trust to e-business, announced today the Entrust Solution for Trade Services(TM) bundle, a comprehensive, end-to-end solution that combines the strengths of both Entrust's public-key infrastructure (PKI) and Entrust/getAccess(TM) portal infrastructure products.

This solution provides financial institutions the ability to quickly and efficiently deploy a secure transactional infrastructure for web-based trade services, including Identrus identity services.

The Entrust Trade Services Solution includes the Entrust/PKI(TM), Entrust/getAccess, Entrust/getAccess Certificate PAAM v2.0*, Entrust/getAccess XML Suite*, Entrust/Toolkit(TM) for Trade Services software, and a specialized Entrust Professional Services practice for Trade Services. The Entrust/getAccess Certificate PAAM v2.0 authenticates users and validates certificates using an OCSP protocol that meets Identrus specifications. The Entrust/getAccess XML Suite provides an XML interface into Entrust/getAccess that interfaces with third-party XML engines and legacy applications, thus allowing for simple, rapid integration of traditional trade services capabilities into a web-based platform. The first implementation of the XML interface will interface with Identrus Transaction Coordinators that comply with Identrus specifications.

Sanwa Bank, one of the early member banks of Identrus, selected Entrust/PKI(TM) software for testing to deliver Identrus identity services for business-to-business transactions. SECOM will host the pilot platform for Sanwa on an outsource basis. Sanwa and SECOM have started interoperability testing with Identrus using Entrust/PKI, and continue to work towards a production rollout.
