Entertainer Connie Stevens Honored for 30 Years of USO Service; Special Image of Herself to be Unveiled on the Classic Lockheed Super Constellation ``The Connie'' at Van Nuys Airport's Rockin' AirFest.


WHAT:        Actress/Entertainer Connie Stevens will be honored for 30
             years of dedication and service to the USO and the U.S.
             Military in a special tribute at Van Nuys Airport's
             Rockin' AirFest opening ceremonies. A special image of
             Ms. Stevens will be unveiled on the classic Lockheed
             Super Constellation aircraft (nicknamed "The Connie"),
             the last of its kind still flying in the U.S. Besides
             having the same name, Stevens flew on "The Connie"
             several times overseas to military bases where she
             performed with Bob Hope in the Korean, Vietnam and
             Persian Gulf Wars.

WHEN:        Sunday, May 15, 9:30 a.m.
             The unveiling and dedication to Ms. Stevens will conclude
             the Rockin' AirFest opening ceremonies, scheduled to
             begin at 9:30 a.m.

BACKGROUND:  Also known as the "The Star of America," the Lockheed
             Super Constellation is being flown from its home at the
             Airline History Museum in Kansas City, MO, exclusively
             for Rockin' AirFest and the special dedication to Ms.
             Stevens. "The Connie," once considered the most luxurious
             airliner in the sky, was recently featured in the Academy
             Award-winning film "The Aviator." Following the
             dedication, image unveiling and tribute to Ms. Stevens,
             the aircraft will remain on display throughout the
             AirFest event.
