The WACS contract is a $2.6 Billion multi-year pre-competed General Services Administration The General Services Administration (GSA) was established by section 101 of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (40 U.S.C.A. § 751). The WACS contract enables all Federal Agencies to modernize their information system infrastructures with COTS equipment and services. ESI support to GTI's WACS contact will include communications and computer security infrastructure design and engineering; telecommunications security risk management and life cycle analysis/support; and telecommunications systems security products.

Federal Agencies utilizing the WACS contract have the authority to appoint a Designated Agency Official that has full authority to execute delivery orders. The contract authorizes the DAOs to issue delivery orders that include telecommunications infrastructures needs, systems integration, testing, training and maintenance.

ESI will support the WACS contract from their new ESI Application Development Center (ADC (1) See A/D converter.
